The urbanization period of Sarajevo after conquered by Ottomans in 1463 has handled two parts: The first one is construction activities were made by Isa Bey, at the south region of the Miljacka River which has divided in two the city. Another one is to be formed to city’s nucleus with the kulliye which was called nowadays as ‘Başçarşı’ and has been at the other side of the river and was built by Gazi Husrev Bey. Amasya is a residential area that has witnessed many construction activities as a result of its host to many different cultures. Before the Turks discovered the region, had determined to the physical appearance with structures tracing of the Pagan and Christian cultures. Along with conquest of the Turks in the 14th century has been transformed into Islamic identity in a short period of time. Even if at the beginning both cities were correlated with similarity topographical features, as a common point is an important working structure that continues throughout the century as an issue. Priorly, with Amasya has been the appearance of Turkish city and development process of the Sarajevo which has been the status of a small town, has started at an equal rate and at the end of its were conspicuous by reached the similar appearance and Turkish city. On behalf of explanation of Sarajevo and Amasya’s urbanization period was studied to all the structures built in the region that make up the core of the city.
